Group 4 (Intro group)

Just a reminder that our Group 4 for slower runners is still going strong every Tuesday and Thursday and is an ideal introduction to club running for those considering the next step up from running alone or at the weekly park run.

Tuesday quality sessions

The quality sessions are based around intervals and hill reps, both of which are an essential part of any distance runners training (along with 6-7 mile ‘tempo’ run like we do on a Thursday, and a long slow run at the weekend)

This is the kind of thing where it really helps to run with others, and for many, where the real improvements happen.

Thursday sessions

Our Thursday runs will be around 10km and ran in up to four groups based on ability. Each group will have a dedicated leader and a sweeper and regroup as necessary so no one gets left behind.

New members always welcome, come for a run with us a few times FOC and see if it is for you?
